A couple months ago these little red bumps showed up on Lainey's feet. At first I thought they were blisters. They were not getting worse, but they were not getting better. I finally took her to a dermatologist.
It kind of looks like ring worm, but it's not. The doctor said it's Granuloma Annulare. I know. Gran-u-what? I just call it an immune system reaction. No one knows the cause of it, but it is common in diabetics. There are no symptoms other than a spot on your skin, which will eventually disappear. No treatment is needed, and the spots will go away on their own. It could take months, sometimes years.
Just thought you'd like to know....
